About the Monaco Yacht Show
The Monaco Yacht Show fills Port Hercule each September, gathering superyachts moored side by side across the harbour of Monaco. The 2026 edition runs 23-26 September. It is the central date in the yachting calendar and, for four days, the reason the entire principality is full.
What Makes It Different
Most shows are held in a hall. This one is held in a working harbour, in a country of two square kilometres, and the effect is that the show and the city become the same thing for the week.
Access to the quays is one question; access to the yachts themselves is another, and it runs through invitation rather than through a ticket. The evenings matter as much as the days — a great deal of what the week is for happens on a deck after the quays close.

- Separate the two kinds of access — a show ticket gets you onto the quays. Boarding a specific yacht is a separate arrangement made in advance with the people representing her
- Book accommodation absurdly early — Monaco fills completely, and the fallback towns along the coast fill immediately after
- Plan the evenings deliberately — the days are for walking the quays, the evenings are where the week justifies itself
- Decide how you arrive — Nice is the airport, but the useful question is whether you come in by helicopter, by car along the coast, or by sea

Dates and Location
The 2026 show runs 23-26 September at Port Hercule, across four days. The quays open in the morning and the harbour stays closed to ordinary traffic for the duration.
The show returns to the same harbour each September. Dates for 2027 had not been announced at the time of writing.
Access and Where to Stay
Entry to the show is ticketed, with tiers that differ in which areas and hospitality they open. Visiting a particular yacht is arranged separately and privately. We do not resell tickets — we arrange the week: access at the level that matches why you are going, introductions where they are the actual point, and everything around it held long before the principality closes out.
Monaco itself is the obvious answer for a room and the hardest one. The realistic alternatives run along the coast — Cap-d’Ail, Roquebrune, Cap Ferrat, Nice — each trading proximity for availability. A yacht of your own is the other answer, and berthing during show week is its own arrangement made far in advance.
