The World Economic Forum annual meeting is held each January in Davos, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Attendance inside the Congress Centre is by invitation and accreditation.
What Makes It Different
The official programme is the smaller half of the week. Along the Promenade, shopfronts are taken over by companies and countries for the duration, and a parallel calendar of breakfasts, dinners and private meetings runs from early morning to late at night.

Davos Switzerland hosts the Forum in the Congress Centre, but the week fills the whole town — which is why the address matters less than being inside the valley at all.
