Baseball World Series Tickets, Schedule and How to Be There

The only championship where nobody knows the city until days before the first pitch — and the arrangements still have to be ready

About the World Series

The World Series is the championship round of Major League Baseball, a best-of-seven played across two cities at the end of October. The 2026 edition begins on Friday 23 October, with a seventh game, if needed, on Saturday 31 October.

What Makes the World Series Different

Every other major final has a known venue booked years out. This one does not: the two cities are decided days before Game 1, and the 2-3-2 format means the series moves between them mid-run, with the team holding the better regular-season record hosting the first two games and the last two.

Everything — flights, rooms, access — has to be arranged against a matchup that does not exist yet. That is the whole problem, and it is a planning problem rather than a ticketing one.

Where to Start

  • Book the dates, not the city — the calendar is fixed long before the teams are, and holding flexibility across both possible cities is what makes attendance possible at all
  • Decide which games matter — Games 1 and 2 are the opening statement, Games 6 and 7 are where a series is won and where scarcity peaks
  • Treat the travel as the hard part — two cities, a travel day between legs, and a series that may end early
  • Expect an early finish — a sweep ends the series in four games, so arrangements for Games 6 and 7 have to be reversible

The 2026 Schedule

Game 1 falls on Friday 23 October and Game 2 on Saturday 24 October in the higher-seeded team’s city. Games 3, 4 and 5 run Monday 26, Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October in the other city. Games 6 and 7, if the series goes that far, return to the first city on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October.

Games 5, 6 and 7 are played only if required. The series ends the moment a team takes four.

Tickets, Suites and Hospitality

Access splits into regular seating, club and premium levels and suites. Suites and premium hospitality are held by the clubs and released late, which means the useful route is rarely a public sale.

We do not resell tickets. We hold the dates, track both possible host cities, and put access, rooms and flights in place as the matchup resolves.

How We Help

  • Two cities held in parallel until one falls away
  • Rooms within reach of each ballpark
  • Flights that survive a schedule shifting by a day
  • Access chosen by game number rather than by whatever is left
  • A table booked for the night after

Games 6 and 7. They are the ones that decide the series, and they are also the ones that may never be played.

Yes, and that is the only way it works. The dates are fixed in advance, the cities are held in parallel and one is released.

A sweep ends it in four games. Anything booked for Games 5 to 7 has to be arranged so it can be released.

A World Series game 7 is played on the final scheduled date, in the higher-seeded team’s city. It is the hardest ticket of the series and the one that may never be played, so anything arranged for it has to be releasable.
