Traditional dishes, live music, and karaoke on a rooftop above Palm Jumeirah
Chalet Berezka Dubai: Russian Dining Above Palm Jumeirah
About Chalet Berezka Dubai
Chalet Berezka Dubai is where Russian hospitality meets a Dubai night out. Set on a rooftop above Palm Jumeirah, the restaurant brings together traditional dishes, live music, and karaoke that runs into the early hours, making it a favourite for celebrations and long evenings with friends.
A New Home on Nakheel Mall
Chalet Berezka first opened at The Pointe in 2018 and became one of the best-known Russian venues in the city. When that site closed, the restaurant moved to the West Rooftop of Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah, reopening on 21 November 2024 with a larger space and a new stage for live performances.
The rooftop setting is now the main draw. A spacious terrace looks out across the Palm and the Dubai skyline, private lounges suit groups and celebrations, and a separate shisha lounge offers a quieter corner. The restaurant opens daily from 6pm until 5am.

What to Order at Chalet Berezka Restaurant
The menu at Chalet Berezka restaurant is rooted in Russian cooking, with influences from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Dishes are generous and made for sharing:
- Megrelian khachapuri: Georgian cheese bread, baked until golden
- Tomatoes with stracciatella: a lighter, modern starter
- Syrniki: traditional cottage cheese pancakes, served as a dessert
Classic Russian and Uzbek dishes complete the menu, alongside a full bar. Your Private Advisor can share the current menu and any dietary requirements with the restaurant before you arrive.
Music and Entertainment
Evenings at Chalet Berezka are built around entertainment. From Sunday to Thursday, live music begins at 9pm, followed by karaoke, and the programme continues through the night. Weekends bring a fuller line-up and a livelier room. Guests celebrating a birthday or a special occasion often reserve a private lounge with a view of the stage.
Russian Hospitality in Dubai
Dubai has a large Russian-speaking community, and Berezka Dubai has long been one of its gathering places. The restaurant describes itself as the residence of the Russian soul in the Middle East, and the welcome reflects that: generous portions, toasts shared across the table, and a room that encourages guests to stay late. For visitors unfamiliar with Russian cuisine, it offers an easy introduction, with dishes that feel familiar alongside regional specialities from Georgia and Uzbekistan.
When to Go
Arrive around sunset for the best views from the terrace as the Palm lights up, then stay for dinner and the music programme. The cooler months from October to April are ideal for the open-air terrace, while the indoor spaces work year-round. Weekends and karaoke nights are the busiest, so it is worth reserving a few days ahead.
